A brief biography

After spending over 30 years as a biologist for the State of New York, I took to the Hudson River and Catskill Mountains with my camera to capture and share the natural world.

I hope you enjoy my growing catalog of photographs and videos of these unique and ecologically important areas, much of which is currently available on my Facebook site “Chuck Nieder Photography.” In the coming months, I will be posting my work here and on YouTube. Enjoy!
